NAS server better than normal server?
Hi,I know of the NAS server (Network Attached Storage), which you can fill with SCSI disk and acts as a backup/storage server for the webserver. It isn't connected to the internet itself, since it serves only other servers.
But is such a solution better than just putting a normal server with SCSI disks as backup/storage solution, or am I wrong in my definition of NAS servers and do they serve a whole other purpose?
Thank you in advance!
