Zend 2.1.0 / CPanel / PHP -> problems?

Hi, I need to install Zend 2.1.0 on my CPanel server (with PHP 4.2.3) to get Modernbill to work.

Now I've read in the Cpanel forum that people experienced problems with PHP's socket functions after installing Zend 2.1.0.

Anyone else having this problem?
