How to find out true IP of domain?

Hi:
I just moved a site from one server to another (within same hosting company). The host merely changed the IP associated with the domain to point to the new server. How can I tell what the new IP is? In other words, is there a way to tell the true IP associated with a domain without having to wait hours/days for the DNS to propagate?
