blackholes.us blackholing the entire yipes network?
The charming folks here: http://blackholes.us/ seem to have blackhole'd the *entire* *yipes* *network*. I think here at web hosting talk, many people use hosting providers who get bandwidth from yipes, so I'm surprised I didn't find any mention of this.I can't email the guy, because he's using his own blackhole, and, besides, he says he wont respond to email, or listen to requests.
Can anyone explain this? Is yipes even really an "isp"? My server is hosted at webreseller who leases bandwidth from yipes. I have no relationship with yipes, and no way to "contact them".
Isn't this a little like blocking uunet or sprint because they obviously carry spam? Why not just block the entire internet?
I hate spam as much as the next guy, and my actual host (webresller), has antispam policies... but the increasing number of sloppily maintained overly agressive blackhole sites is seriously screwed up.
