Problem with sending out emails

I used the mail() function to send out emails, but when I goto the Mail queue in WHM, I see this error message:

Message 18li8U-00056j-00 is not frozen
delivering message 18li8U-00056j-00
LOG: 0 MAIN PANIC
Couldn't open journal file /var/spool/exim/input//18li8U-00056j-00-J: No such file or directory
Return to Mail Queue


Does anyone know what it means?
