I am setting up my server(running Debian Linux) and I plan on using the partitions: /home, /tmp, /var, /usr, /boot, swap, and /. I have a 120gig hd. How large should I make each partition? I will eventually be install some kind of control panel, not sure which one yet, so I want to make enough room on whatever partition the control panels put the user's files on. Where do the control panel's put user's files? I know how large to make my swap and boot but the others I am not sure. I will be running apache, mysql, mail, php, cgi, and gallery. Also do the control panels themselves control the space for each user or do you have to use it along with the program quota? Also since I have a large drive should I fill it all with the partitions or should I leave unallocated space at the end? Please try to answer all the questions.
