Very strange problem. On a Proliant ML350 / 2 - RAID 1 drives loaded the OS. 3- RAID 5 drives mount /home. All redhat updates were done. After a few hours, no service on KVM switch and SSH stuck. The only resolution is to power off then back on. So, I moved it off the kvm switch thinking that was it. No go, same thing on it's own monitor and mouse/keyb. Then I cahnge inittab to not boot into KDE gui thinking it was the GUI. No go same thing. Ran the hardward diag. Came up with nothing.
Has anyone experienced this with any other servers? Any suggestions on fixing this problem?
