Apache, OpenSSL ModSSL questions
This has probaly been answered before, but im having a little bit of trouble with this setup.
At the moment we are running our hosting server using cpanel and whm to control accounts etc. I have installed a second, slightly cut down version of Apache etc, to act as our control panel server that we are developing.
Everything is working, except that at the moment you have to goto http://www.domain.com:1619 to get to it.
Is it possible to have http://cp.domain.com forward itself (internally) to http://cp.comain.com:1619?
Also, I was thinking of installing openSSL and ModSSL on it to allow https://cp....... Would i still need to buy a certificate from Verisign or someone, or as it is free, can i make my own certificates? It is only going to be used for the control panel.
