What would you have done in a situation like this?

We offer unlimited email addresses so we are off course bound by our promise. But I would just like to know what others would have done in a situation where a client wanted them to upgrade his account to 600 pop3 accounts - another account 450 pop3 accounts. I don't know what this client intends to do with all these pop3 accounts.

We have experienced problems with the server load because of bulk mailings and introduced some limits on how many mails are allowed to send. I'm a little nervous if this client, for instance, intends to open some kind of email service and give one pop3 account to 600+450=1050 people - like turning the server into a an email service server.

If that is the case how would you have reacted?

Hoping for some very needed input.

Thanks
John
