HELP!!! PLEASE!!! How did this hacker get us?
Invision is telling me its because I am on a shared host, and even though shell access is not given, I am likely being hacked by someone else on my same server... I have a reseller account with Dynasty Host... and NO OTHER PHP/MySql programs on her site or mine have been touched... just her forum... no one else was ever given admin priveledges. Seems like someone went through alot to mess with us. Its just a Karen Carpenter fan site.. forum had a couple hundred users and a couple thousand posts, so not like this should be a hacker's target!
If Invision is right, are shared servers so dangerous to host forums on?? I AM looking for a dedicated server... just didnt want to rush into one. If this hacker has it out for my wife's site... is this my only solution???
