HELP! email blacklisting? lost? problems!
Hey all,I am having MAJOR emails problems!
I have 2 reseller accounts and am loosing emails that are sent between them. As far as I can tell, it is restricted to communications between these two servers...but I don't know if it has to do with those servers, their data centers, sub-nets, IP ranges, etc.
The problem: Latelly I have not been receiving any emails sent from to of my email accounts @fantomdesign.com (which is on my unix-reseller) from clients hosted on my nt-reseller. It is not limited to any particular client, I know of 2-3 that are having the problem, and most likelly all of them are. Also, many of my clients are not getting emails sent by me from the @fantomdesign.com email accounts (unix-reseller)....ie: I can email a client that has an email address on my nt-reseller account and cc their personal account (hotmail or whatever). They'll get the one on their personal account, but not on any email accounts on the nt-reseller hosting server.
None of my clients are experiencing any problems with sending or receiving to anyone else. I am not having any problems sending or receving to anyone except clients on that nt-reseller account.
Also, myself and clients have tried outgoing mail servers on the nt-reseller, unix-reseller and various isp's outgoing email servers - it is always the same problem. This leads me to believe its a blacklisting problem as the problem seems to occur when the "to" and "from" feilds are either on the nt-reseller and unix-reseller (respectivelly) or vise-versa. My hosts have looked into it and can't see either of the servers being blacklisted.
No emails are bouncing back or anything, they are just being lost. The hosts are not seeing any emails in their queue or arriving in the "misc." email boxes either.
Does this sound like a blacklisting problem? What else could it be?
thanks,
Cam.
