Front page publishing Server Error: Cannot change permissions
I am trying to publish a copy of my site to my hard drive with Frontpage. When I do I get the following error:
Server Error: Cannot change permissions on file "home/sites/site136/stats/usage_200206.html
And when I ask my host(Who I am changing soon for their lousy customer service 'canadian-hosting.ca') for assistance, they say "Back it up with a FTP application then".
Well that is not what I want to do. I want to use Front page, I bought Front page and I got a host that supports Front page extensions. I did a search on a search engine for the error and one explanation is this...
Server error: Cannot change permissions
file"/home/sites/site006/web/stats/index.html
This error means that Microsoft FrontPage Extensions have been corrupted.
It most likely is not your fault. Please contact MemuMerchant and we will re-set them for you.
Is there anything that I can do?
