Extra ports for smtp

I've decided to post my question here, instead of sending it to my host, because I'm not really sure they would know the answer, plus there are a lot of smart people here, and this could help others.
In CPanel 6, is there any way to add a port number to the SMTP server, so that people who have ISP's that block port 25 except to their ISP's own severs can use it. For example: smtp.mydomain.com:2500 would be the same as smtp.mydomain.com:25 effectively getting around the block?
What should I tell my host to do? I know I should contact them first, but, I figured I'd try here first, and maybe someone who has tackled the issue can give some feedback.
