How much difference in throughput would SCSI make over an IDE hard drive based system? I've got two vBulletin message board systems running on my server plus various other domains, plus a banner ad system. But my Nocster server is going to be dumped and I need to move on to something more reliable. The prices quoted on SCSI systems are generally much more than IDE systems, so I would like to do a reality check to see if the additional money spent is really worthwhile for me.
