how does cPanel Backup work?
I am wondering how the Backup part of cPanel works exactly. once i know how it works i can create an Apple Scirpt or shell script or combination of the two to backup my sites.
here is my cPanel information if that is needed:
cPanel Version 6.0.0-RELEASE
cPanel Build 96
cPanel Theme cPanel X v1.4
on the backup page i can download and restore my home, db files, aliases and filters.
the file for the home backup is "backup-breakingwindows.com-3-19-2003.tar.gz" for example. when is this file created? when i download it it tells me the date created and date modified are pretty close. is this file generated when you load the Backup page, or when you initiate the download, or what?
also the db archived files and the aliases and filters do not have dates attatched to them. so do these archives just have the most recent versions in them?
