What is /tmp/joe.tmp.YVVtTp ?
Because I use the 'joe' editor, I am suspicious that it is a joe file that got lost during a crash or interruption, though I cannot imagine editing a file of that length!
I looked up the joe documentation, but it gave no details about how joe stores files or temporary files.
Anybody know what this might be? Any reason to keep it? OK to toss it?
for that matter, what are all those
files that say 'cpanel.[somesitename].[somereallylongnumber]?
For that matter, what is the purpose of the /tmp directory? Is it, like, temporary? If so, why are those files still there?
Inquiring minds want to know, and I would be grateful if anyone has advice, especially about that large file.
