Proftpd/Cpanel Question

Ok I know that pure-ftpd is faster and many people like it better.. however i like proftpd for the logs and everything it comes with, and it is not as slow if you remove reverse lookup. Now just for a quick question. If i deside to ure pure-ftpd, even though it doesn't have access logs, will it still log bandwidth correctly for the account?

Also i kno many of these threads have been started.. but which one would use choose/use? Pure-ftpd or Proftpd without reverse lookup.
