mqueue

I just checked the du for directory /home/spool/mqueue on my raq and I see 4 directories there, q1, q2, q3 and q4... Each of them are about 2.5 Gb in size

q1 - 2448555
q2 - 2507589
q3 - 2826035
q4 - 2586434

That's about 10 Gb there...

Is it safe to remove these directories? What are they used for anyway?
