What do you do to check ypur server is running smoothly or not?
I just wanted to know what exactly do people do to check whether the server is operating smoothly or not. Do you run any tools or daemon on Red Hat Linux server to run this task? I've hired some staff to setup a Linux's web server and somehow we cannot access the content lately. Anyone have any idea or clue for us to start with. If I'm going to hire other people to look at this situation, what exactly are they going to do to make it back and running and how do you charge this type of service to the freelance? Anyone has the same experience like me?
