should I be worried? please, help needed

hello, yesterday my box crashed and I did just check out my var/log/messages. it's a red hat box with cpanel. 209.41.143.xxx tryed for 4 hours always the same, just on different ports. and then... boom... my server went offline. further... the ftp access makes me wondering as well. the box is at nocster, can't understand what ?@127.0.0.1 is. I did google for 'PHY status 786d' but I did not find anything I could understand.

could you please check the following logs? what do you think happened?
