I have loads of log files on my server called "rpm-xfer.[5-random-charectors]" They are taking up a lot of space and causing problems. At present I have to delete them twice a day, I realise I could do this with cron but want to be able to stop them. It is a Red hat / cpanel box. I know rpm is a packaging technology for red hat, and xfer stands for transfer. On the other hand that may just be a conincedence. They are log files, but I don't know how to disable them. Anyone!?
