MS DNS Setup
Can anyone point me towards a good tutorial or provide me with some insight as to how I would setup MS DNS Server to provide DNS services for my web hosting business?
I recently moved to a collocated solution from dedicated and we're now responsible for providing our own DNS services. I have MS DNS Server installed (on Win2k Server), I have a domain name registered (lets call it dnsserver.com) as a name server and use ns1.dnsserver.com and ns2.dnsserver.com.
The problem is, doing a tracert to the domain returns an "unknown host", even though nslookup says its pointed to the correct place.
I'm really a newbie as far as DNS goes and could really use some help as to how to get this thing going to computers outside my network can get the correct IP addresses of the site.
Any help would be appreciated.
