ns1.domain.com is not a registered name server?

I recently got a dedicated server. I've been registering my domains at GoDaddy, and until now using EasyDNS and ZoneEdit as the name servers. I'm trying to set up the new server as my DNS server for existing domains.

The domain tsigo.com is at ZoneEdit, but I need to change the nameserver entry from ns5.zoneedit.com and ns7.zoneedit.com to ns1.tsigo.com and ns2.tsigo.com

I've set ZoneEdit to resolve those two subdomains to the correct addresses, but when I try to enter those as the tsigo.com nameservers into GoDaddy, I get this error:

NS1.TSIGO.COM is not a registered name server.
NS2.TSIGO.COM is not a registered name server.

Pinging both of those addresses resolves to the correct IPs, and I just checked to make sure that the new server (where I'm trying to move the DNS to) has entries for both ns1 and ns2, which it does.
