Backup and Restore help needed. Some Questions???

I have searched and read all the posts on backups and I am still wondering about something. If anyone can help, it is greatly appreciated.

Scenerio:
I have a server(ServerA) at a Data Center(DC1).
I would like to back this server up or mirror it to a remote location(another DC) so that
If something happened to the server or the first DC was down, I would lbe able to restore my clients seamlessly at the other DC immediately.
What is the best, most cost-effective way to do this?

basically, like if I had 2 exact replicas of servers at 2 different DCs so that if one was down--DNS would point to the other and downtime would be pretty much unnoticed or kept minimal
So whats the best way to accompish this feat?
