ChainedSSL not working on subdomain

I've been searching around the forums and I can't seem to find a complete/solution to my problem. I've recently installed a ChainedSSL certificate for one of my subdomains.

It was installed using the option within WHM panel and all appeared to go fine - no errors reported etc . . .

Anyway when I type in:

https://subdomain.mydomain.com

It displays the index.htm for my Main Domain rather than the index.htm for the subdomain.

The only way it displays correctly and with the SSL lock is by typing: https://subdomain.mydomain.com/subdomain

Anyway, I've heard it may be an issue within the httpd.conf file however, I don't have access to it.

If someone could please detail specifically what needs to be done - I can probably get my provider to resolve it for me.
