High CPU load -- how to figure out what's causing it?
I keep getting messages from CPanel CPUWatch saying that "While processing, the cpu has been maxed out for more than a 6 hour period."
But every time I check the CPU usage stats after getting these messages, I don't see anything wrong -- the CPU usage is always about 0.3%.
My box is a Celeron 1.3 GHz, but I don't host any dynamic sites --all I have is 6 HTML-only sites about 20 pages each, they get 6000-9000 visitors per day in total. No bulletin boards, no server-side scripts.
What's causing this load? Is there a log of CPU usage that I can use to pinpoint the offending process?
