Hosting my own website?

I would like to host my own website...I have the following items...just wondering what I'm missing and how to put them all together...

1. windows 2000 server w/ DNS
2. one static IP
3. one registered domain name
4. Apache
5. PHP
6. MySQL


How do I setup the DNS, meaning what domain name do I give my DNS server and can it be the same as the one I have registered or do I have to get another domain registered specifically for the DNS server. Is one static IP and one DNS server enough or will I need another of each? And what info do I have to give to my domain registrar company to let them know where the website is?
