cost of security?
I see yet another linux kernel exploit revealed in last few hours...This is becoming ridiculous last few months.. other than changing Linux flavours and banning shell access, securing ftp etc.. is there any clue as to whether this trend is here to stay?
The cost of upgrading large numbers of servers every time there is a hole exposed is becoming very boring.. but not being a legitimate geek maybe I'm ignorant of the true situation..
Any enlightened ones here have any comment?
