Redhat 7.2? 7.3? or 8.0? / Cpanel updates

I'm wondering which distro of the RH is good / stable / pretty secured.. give me some ideas on which to go with, its for webserver.

If I were to go with freebsd, are the updates for cpanel on freebsd platform coming out as frequent as the linux ones? Or they actually use the same patch?

Which platform is better for webserver?
