understanding Mail Exchange Servers
I am not a webhost, but rather a web developer. So please forgive my (stupid?) questions.
I am currently in the process of re-delegating the domain name of a client of mine from one webhost to another.
My client has got his own Mail Exchange Server. Unfortunately, I do not know anything about them and nor does my client, really (somebody else set it up for him).
So I am now worried that, if I re-delegate the domain name from one host to another, the delivery of the emails might get stuffed up. Can you guys tell me whether there are any settings that have to be done to ensure the Mail Exchange Server can continue to be used? Does the new host have to make any settings to forward the email to my clients own Exchange Server?
