How to update MIME type

A customer asked that I fix this problem:

Is there an easy way for me to update mime types? I didnt' see anything in cpanel (linux server).

Here is the error we are ultimately trying to fix:

Error: The stylesheet http://www.domain.com/page.css was not loaded because its MIME type, "text/html", is not "text/css".

Any ideas on how we should start?
