Memory Eaten Quickly!

Hey everyone! The techie I usually depend on is away and I have been faced with a serious issue. I have a client in China hosted on a 2.3 Ghz Celeron with 512 MB of DDR and they are running a very large Discuz message board and Zend is installed. After about 5-10 minutes from restarting the memory is all eaten and only about 4 MB of the 512 MB is left, then it starts over... I did a ps- aux to see what all was running after a little while and I got a lot of the following...

mysql 1042 0.1 2.0 39428 10204 ? S 11:46 0:03 [mysqld]
mysql 1043 0.1 2.0 39428 10204 ? S 11:46 0:04 [mysqld]
mysql 1051 0.1 2.0 39428 10204 ? S 11:46 0:04 [mysqld]
root 2302 0.0 0.3 3460 1608 ? S 12:13 0:00 /usr/sbin/sshd
root 2305 0.0 0.2 2252 1228 pts/0 S 12:14 0:00 -bash
apache 2365 0.1 0.8 10312 4564 ? S 12:15 0:01 [httpd]
mysql 2368 0.0 2.0 39428 10204 ? S 12:16 0:00 [mysqld]
nobody 2407 0.0 0.1 3940 864 ? S 12:24 0:00 [directadmin]
nobody 2408 0.0 0.1 3940 864 ? S 12:24 0:00 [directadmin]

Can anyone help me with this problem? Would could cause the memory to be eaten up so quickly and the board perform so slowly? I am not an expert on the inner workings of servers so please explain nicely :-). Thanks in advance for any help!
