I had a competitor today threaten a lawsuit against me today for an ad they claimed was infringing on their copy right name or something. Anyway.. the ad basically said something like, "Looking for an alternative to 'company name' " anyway, I was able to discuss the issue with the person and described the size of my hosting company and so on and we came to an agreement of me dropping the ad and they drop the soon to be lawsuit.
OK.. long intro to the real question. During our discussions he pulled a list of all my clients! Basically he some how searched "not sure where or how" by using our DNS names and was able to pull all domains using our DNS, which was basically a list of our clients.
So.. now I am dying to know how they did this? I thought I was pretty familiar with alot of things, but I can't say I think of an easy way for them to do this off the top of my head.
