mail configuration help needed
I have two domain names (mydomain.com and mydomain.net). I would like mail sent to any recipient on mydomain.net to go to the corresponding mailbox on mydomain.com.
Is it possible to setup mail to automatically look for the mailbox on the other domain without setting up aliases or forwarders for each box? For example if a message comes in for joe.smith@mydomain.net, the message would automatically look for mailbox joe.smith@mydomain.com and end up there.
I realize that I can make this happen using forwarders, but I'm looking to cut some time off my setup. We would never have messages sent to mydomain.net that did not have a mailbox in mydomain.com.
