Backup solution - 200GB plus

Hi all - I'm looking for input to help me set up a reasonably robust backup system for a reasonable amount of data.

We have a number of servers in one datacenter and a couple in other datacenters. Total data to be backed up is getting on for 200GB, and in a year's time could be 400GB - maybe? Currently have a sever with tape drive and a spare HDD.

What do people have in place for backing up this kind of data volume?
- tape changer and management software (expensive)
- large hard drives in a backup server
- something else??


I'm looking for a decent, affordable solution that will scale to maybe 0.5 or 1 terabyte. Any suggestions?
