Installing Linux in dual boot with Windows
Hi,I already installed Linux in dual boot with Windows a couple of times when I had Win98. I now have WinXP and I want to install Redhat 7.3 as I need a temporary linux server.
My comp is using a Promise IDE Raid card which gets detected easily by the Linux installation. However, when I go to partition the drive with Disk Druid (I left a 15gb space to create my linux partitions), Disk druid tells me that the partition table is unreadable.
I guess this is because my first windows partition is NTFS. The redhat docs say that this error is caused by the partition table format not being supported by the parition software (Disk Druid) but they don't give any tips to go around this.
What should I do ? Thank you.
