I was trying to install PHP accelerator to speed up my php scripts which are causing my system to overload. However the developer of PHP accelerator told me that I'm running a CGI interface for PHP, and PHPA doesn't accelerate in this case. He advised that I should run PHP as an apache module. So I checked with my host and they say I may need to contact CPanel on this because it involves PHP and my server may end up inoperable. So I'm wondering, you guys who have PHP accelerator installed, do you all have PHP running as an apache module? Should I just go ahead and reinstall PHP as an apache module or is there something in WHM that enables me to do it? Thanks.
