Site Images Load Slow

I have a question about a server speed issue. For some reason, my server seems to be fairly fast; however, the site's images load very slow. Here is a sample forum:

http://www.d12world.com/board/index.php

Any ideas why? Should I modify anything in apache or mysql? Please advise.
