File Server Problems
I have a File Server setup which hold the clients web files and another server has all the IIS instances. Both the servers are on the same network. The path in IIS to a clients web site is set to use a Remote Share via UNC path. The Connect As username and password are provided. Everything works fine.
The Problem
Now comes the tricky part. When ever the client updates a page in the web site, the page takes about 15-20 minutes to update. Even after refreshing the browser, clearing the cache, closing and opening the browser, etc. - nothing works. The page takes 15-20 minutes to refresh the changes.
I was wondering if this is a problem with the setup or is this the default time it takes to refresh contents from a File Server? I'm sure someone will guide me to the proper settings. Thanks in advance.
