Boy, did I goof

I need help, maybe someone here can suggest something. Anything.

A few days ago I solicited a new host for a small reseller account. After reviewing all that responded I selected one based on e-mails, communication, control panel, DC, bundled products and price.

The new host was kind enough to move everything over for me, about 1.2g.

I repointed the DNS yesterday and have been waiting for the sites to resolve to the new IP.

They do, today.

Apparently the new host misconfigured the server. Only the main account shows up, all the others are dead. DEAD. D*E*A*D.

The new host sent a broadcast e-mail message: "I will be gone for a few days but that won't affect support. I will be available via e-mail." (This host offers 24/7/365 support... I had no idea it was one person. Dumb me.)

Said host is NOT available. I have dead sites and angry people coming at me from all sides. One of the sites is for a major news organization (I run the site) and the news is going to start here in the east in one hour. If that site is dead when the news starts, so am I.

I ran everything through dnscheck.com and except for the main site, they all say they resolve to the new ip but they then say:

"...is alive, but not authoritative for domain 'xxxx.com' and didn't return SOA"

"No DNS servers alive, tests stopped"

OMG, am I tanked here? I can't rais "support," who is obviously en route somewhere and I have no idea what to do.

Is there anything I can do on my end?

TIA
