Name Servers Question - switching to new server
I may be in the incorrect area for this, but I will give this a try.
Ok, I am a reseller, and now having to change servers because of poor problems with teh present servers. when I signed up with the Present account, I was given NS1 & NS2 for name servers. with the ip addresses.
Now when I have signed up with tis new server. I have been given new Name Servers, with new IP addresses for the NS1 & NS2. what I would like to know, is if #1 can or will I be able to keep the present Name Servers, and transfer them to the new one..?? or do I need to completely have all my clients change the Name Servers they used when they signed up with me..??
Or, should I just take and Change the IP addresses for the present Name Servers, and keep the present ones..??
Sound Confusing, Oh yes, being this will be the first time I have ever done something like this before. I am beyond nervious. and Into Eating Coffee grounds till I can figure this out.
Everyone, this might sound stupid to you, or something, but I am serious. I have no Idea how to do this. I have a few hunderd clients, and I sure dont want them to have them change all of teh name servers for their domains.
Please, Please Help Me..
