Please Help! I'm In trouble...
I am in a deep trouble for the last few days, Ill be really thankful if any of you friends out here can help me out of it.
The problem goes like this:
I have a dedicated server with one primary IP and 4 additional IPs. That means total 5 Ips on it.
I am not having any problem with the primary IP.
When I Ping the four Ips from one Ping/tracert server the results are:
xxx.xxx.xxx.xx0 < ----- Time Out
xxx.xxx.xxx.xx1 < ----- OK
xxx.xxx.xxx.xx2 < ----- OK
xxx.xxx.xxx.xx3 < ----- Time Out
When I Ping from some other ping/tracert server the results are:
xxx.xxx.xxx.xx0 < ----- OK
xxx.xxx.xxx.xx1 < ----- Time Out
xxx.xxx.xxx.xx2 < ----- Time Out
xxx.xxx.xxx.xx3 < ----- OK
It has been 6 days now I thought that it will be automaticaly resolved, but the problem is still there.
Above all when I ping the 4 Ips from my ISP No. 1 it gives the the result:
xxx.xxx.xxx.xx0 < ----- Time Out
xxx.xxx.xxx.xx1 < ----- OK
xxx.xxx.xxx.xx2 < ----- OK
xxx.xxx.xxx.xx3 < ----- Time Out
ISP 2 result:
xxx.xxx.xxx.xx0 < ----- OK
xxx.xxx.xxx.xx1 < ----- Time Out
xxx.xxx.xxx.xx2 < ----- Time Out
xxx.xxx.xxx.xx3 < ----- OK
When I tracert them, the timeout comes at the last/last but one hop! The IPs are configured properly. It is a Windows 2003 server. But I need all 4 of them working from every location.
Please Help me out friends
