Red Hat Network (RHN) Unreliable?
I'm wondering if anyone else out there has had experience with Red Hat's "RHN Network". The service is supposed to allow you to update errata and packages to your server.
I have been using their free service for a few months now, and find it ridiculously unreliable. For example, it will say that my server updates are out of date, when the day before it said that they were complete. I will run package updates and the update action will be shown as complete, but the package is still listed as needing to be updated.
Because I'm using the free service, I'm treated like a second class citizen when it comes to support. Truthfully, I would pay for this service if it worked right.
Has anyone had experience with RHN, good or bad?
