IIS Hangs
I am using Windows2000 Server and IIS5 along with asp to provide our employees with an Intranet.
I have recently redesigned the site, which appears to work well at the time. What was hiding the problem was that the server had to be shut down every night until a problem with the room was fix. (Had to move the server to another room).
The problem that I am finding now that the room has been fix is that after one day of use the system stops processing pages that access the databases (DBF). Pages that have no connection to the databases still work.
I have run IISState -p 1876 -d -sc and also AdPlus -hang -p 1876 and ADPlus -hang -iis -p1876. The IISState found no problems to produce a report, AdPlus dump all processes for the PID but it is not easy to look for something when you dont know what you are looking for.
.Note: Once this has happen I have to stop and restart the IIS but the IIS than hangs in a shorter time period. To get a full day I have to restart the server.
