Im stripping down a box and need to know what each of these services do. I have a few other running that I know about but I need to find out about these to figure out whether to turn them off or leave them on.
syslog netfs network random pcmcia keytable atd gpm autofs
Also on the RHN service rhnsd
Do I have to leave that on to use up2date? Or can I turn the service off and up2date will still work, the RHN website just won't be able to do stuff on it's own?
