From Redhat 7.2 to FreeBSD
We're currently considering moving our servers over from Redhat 7.2 to FreeBSD - partly because of the Redhat 7.X end of life coming up...
Ive read posts on WHT about Linux V. FreeBSD and how freebsd users will swear by it and all
Im an avid/advanced linux user but total novice to freebsd.
What should I expect to learn? Im sure all our apache / ftp / email settings will not have to change - we'll probably have to recompile the binaries though.
What's different about the 2 (besides the kernel) that I will notice? Im assuming all the standard UNIX commands will be the same... is it a different directory structure?
Any advice/help/experience/comments would be appreciated
