Data transfer vs bandwidth
I am wondering what is the exact difference between data transfer and bandwidth. To me data transfer is the traffic, that is the allowable size of data allowed to transfer from the web server to the visitor's computer.
Bandwidth however, is to define the speed of the transfer, right? For instance, a bigger water hose will have a faster transfer speed, but still the amount of data allowed to be transfered is capped by the data transfer limit. Am I right?
Hope some gurus will enlighten me on this.
