Multiple Certs per server
We are just getting into the hosing business and have a few clients that we are developing web applications and ecommerce sites for. We need to have these sites secured and talked with verisign. They told us that we need to have a seperate security certificate at $600 per year per fully qualified domain (Virtual Domain) on our server. Is this right, and if so, how can the average small business afford to pay $600/year just for a security certificate from Verisign? How do you guys handle this for your clients.
