sendmail hanging
I'm currently running sendmail 8.12.8-5.80 on a RedHat 8 machine. This machine has been up and running for months now, and sendmail hasn't given any problems whatsoever.
However, as of late if theres more than one message waiting in the mail spool, sendmail seems to just hang forever when trying to retrieve with my mail client. And I'm not talking big emails with file attachments or anything.... these are little 5-6k text emails.
Now for added info in helping diagnose this problem... I'm also running SpamAssassin, and MailScanner. However, these two programs have been running since day one of this machine being online, so they're NOT new additions. And this is only recently that this sendmail "hanging" problem has surfaced.
I'm running 5 other servers with the exact same config, and all the same updates have been made to each. So I'm really at a loss as to why this one particular server is having issues.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
