Multiple Timezones on Reseller Accounts
I have a reseller account with a couple of clients wanting their site to be set to their current timezone.
Some have said it can't be done and others have said the TZ environment variable needs to be changed.
As a reseller I know I probably can't set the environment variable myself, but I should be able to get the server owner to perform whatever "magic" is reguired.
I just need to know what the "magic" is and where it has to be performed, and how to make it survive a server reboot, so I can request this "magic" be done for me.
Each user has an etc directory in their file manager, so I was wondering if a symbolic link from there to the correct timezone file on the server would do the trick, as I believe Linux can have multiple timezones on the one server.
I only have my Linux "L" plates (learner) so I could be completely wrong. Any help would be much appreciated.
